Eve Torres to be a cast member on new military-themed reality TV show

Eve Torres' disappearance from WWE television recently was explained today as the former WWE Divas champion was announced as a cast member of NBC's newest reality TV competition "Stars Earn Stripes."

Hosted by retired General Wesley Clark and Samantha Harris, the show is about eight celebrities who are teamed up and trained by a current or former member of either armed forces or law enforcement and who must tackle complicated and difficult missions that are inspired by real military exercises.

Celebrities will be playing to win and to earn a cash prize for military, veterans and first-responder based charities with each week one of the teams will be eliminated.

Laila Ali, Dean Cain, Terry Crews, Nick Lachey, Todd Palin, Picabo Street, and Dolvett Quince will join Eve Torres on the show, which premieres on Monday, August 13 at 8PM EST.

Torres will be playing to win cash for the USO, an organization that WWE helps out a lot during the year.

Dick Wolf from Law & Order, Mark Burnett from Survivor and David A. Hurwitz from Fear Factor will be serving as executive producers.
