A very emotional Shawn Michaels enters the Hall of Fame

Shawn Michaels didn't bring a prepared speech for yesterday's Hall of Fame and was shooting from the hip for the whole segment. While some may have been disappointed that he didn't recall any stories from the road or any of his matches, the former WWE champion decided to talk about his early days as a wrestler and entertaining the fans and about family.

He also talked about his return "for one match only" at SummerSlam which then resulted into a nine year run and said that despite what the Undertaker said, he has no regrets whatsoever.

HBK thanked his family and his children for allowing him to go away and "play wrestling" and also thanked his fellow Superstars for letting him into their fraternity. He finally thanked the fans and said it was important for him to know that the fans liked what he put out there.

The Showstopper ended his speech with the DX line of, "if you're not down with, "Suck it!"

Before the show, Vince McMahon presented Shawn with his Hall of Fame ring backstage and WWE.COM was there to film it as part of the HBK Diary feature on the website. Michaels was very nervous pacing around until McMahon showed up and said he'd rather be in the ring in front of 70,000 people instead of this at the moment because he was very nervous. McMahon hugged and kissed Shawn after he put on the ring in a very emotional moment.
