WWE Hall of Famer Bobby “The Brain” Heenan joins Twitter

Legendary manager Bobby “The Brain” Heenan has finally joined Twitter using the @RealBobbyHeenan username. The account was verified by his wife Cynthia on her Twitter.

Taking a page out of the “Hello world” program, Heenan’s first tweet was “Hello humanoids,” a term he loved to use when he was at his best: managing and announcing.

The 71 year old Bobby had both throat and tongue cancers and is not able to speak. He looks completely different from his wrestling days due to reconstructive surgery on his jaw. Two years ago he fell and broke his hip just months after breaking his shoulder. He was hospitalized for three days in May after falling at his home.

Heenan has already amassed over 17,000 followers in just 24 hours and displays a photo of the Heenan Family – with Andre The Giant, King Kong Bundy, Paul Orndorff, Mr Perfect, Rick Rude, and Big John Studd – as his cover picture.

You can reach him at http://www.twitter.com/realbobbyheenan.
