WWE-bound Giulia has suffered a setback after breaking her wrist during the Marigold inaugural show yesterday.

“Today, her doctor examined her and diagnosed her with a fracture,” the Marigold X account posted. “Unfortunately she will miss the Hana Kimura show on the 23rd, and upcoming shows for the time being. We apologize and thank you for understanding.”

Giulia was expected to be part of the NXT Heatwave show in Toronto during the July 4 weekend but such injury typically requires around two months to heal depending on the severity of the fracture.

The former NJPW Strong Women’s champion wrestled in a tag team match in the main event of Marigold’s show yesterday, teaming with Utami Hayashishita against Sareee and Bozilla.
