Vince Russo files for protective order against Jim Cornette

There are rivalries in the ring in professional wrestling, but some real rivalries happen backstage. Jim Cornette and Vince Russo share a rivalry that has been going on for nearly two decades and it does not seem like it’s going to stop any time soon.

Vince Russo filed a protection order in the State of Indiana against Jim Cornette, alleging that he has been the victim of stalking. “Golly, VOLDERMORT just filed a Emergency Protective Order on me. I can’t hang out with him anymore,” Cornette wrote on twitter, adding a scan of the order which was hand delivered by police officers at his home in Louisville. The order states that Cornette must stay away from Russo, his family, their home, and his place of work.

The history between the two is pretty brutal and both of them say pretty nasty things about each other on their respective podcasts. Fortunately for Cornette – and not that he needs it – he has more support behind him than Russo does as Russo is disliked by many in the industry. Russo also recently started feuding with Bruce Pritchard who currently works for Impact Wrestling.
