The Smashing Machine now available on digital

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s The Smashing Machine movie was released on digital today on Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and other digital retailers.

The movie is based on the 2002 documentary The Smashing Machine: The Life and Times of Extreme Fighter Mark Kerr and is directed by Benny Safdie and distributed by the A24 movie studio.

Joining Johnson and Blunt on the cast are Lyndsey Gavin, Oleksandr Usyk, Bas Rutten, Ryan Bader, Satoshi Ishii, Yoko Hamamura, Paul Cheng, Cyborg Abreu, and Zoe Kosovic.

The Smashing Machine ended a very disappointing theatrical run with $11,357,580 in domestic gross and a worldwide number of $20,216,842. It was Johnson’s worst-ever movie opening so far.
