Steven Hirsch, Vivid Entertainment Founder, issues statement on Chyna

Steven Hirsch, the Founder and Co-Chairman of Vivid Entertainment issued a statement to us through his public relations office regarding the death of one of his most popular employees, Chyna.

“Chyna was a kind and gentle person. She was incredibly popular and her movies were amongst our best sellers. She made time for everyone that came up and spoke to her. When I spoke to her last she seemed a bit down but was looking towards the future. RIP Chyna.”

Hirsch got Chyna onboard after her first x-rated film 1 Night in Chyna, filmed with her then-boyfriend Sean “X-Pac” Waltman. She made her debut under the Vivid banner in 2011 and went on to have four best-selling movies including Backdoor to Chyna, Chyna is Queen of the Ring, Avengers XXX: A Porn Parody and She Hulk XXX.
