The highly-acclaimed Smashing Machine movie, featuring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson portraying MMA legend Mark Kerr, will screen at select IMAX theaters around the United States and Canada for one day only on September 22.

This will serve as a preview before the actual nationwide release of the movie on October 3 and is billed as the IMAX Exclusive Early Access. A total of 14 theaters will have this early screening.

n the United States, the locations are Regal Atlantic Station & IMAX in Atlanta, AMC Barton Creek Square 14 & IMAX in Austin, AMC Boston Common 19 in Boston, Regal City North & IMAX in Chicago, AMC Bay Street 16 & IMAX in Emeryville, Regal UA King of Prussia & IMAX in King of Prussia, AMC Sunset Place 24 & IMAX in Miami, AMC Lincoln Square 13 & IMAX in New York, AMC DINE-IN Desert Ridge 18 & IMAX in Phoenix, Universal Cinema AMC at CityWalk Hollywood & IMAX in Universal City, and AMC Georgetown 14 & IMAX in Washington DC.

In Canada, the locations are Cinema Cineplex Forum & IMAX in Montreal, Scotiabank Toronto & IMAX in Toronto, Scotiabank Vancouver & IMAX in Vancouver, and Landmark Cinemas 24 Whitby & IMAX in Whitby.
