Shaul Guerrero pulls out of future wrestling shows due to eating disorder

Shaul Guerrero, the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Guerrero, announced on her social media that she is pulling out of all upcoming wrestling appearances after a scary mental illness crisis.

She wrote that on the advice by professionals and her loved ones, she was told not to participate in high-stress events for now.

“I deeply apologize to the fans who have been respectful and supportive of me and who continue to do so,” she wrote. “I will be using this time to seek the help I need, reestablish my eating disorder treatment, and hopefully get answers and solutions to reach a healthy mental state.”

Guerrero had been battling an eating disorder for years and WWE even sent her to rehab while she was wrestling in NXT at the time. She eventually left the company in 2014 due to her disorder.

The 30-year-old appeared as a ring announcer for All Elite Wrestling during the AEW Women’s Tag Team Cup tournament in August.

Guerrero is married to former WWE Superstar Aiden English.
