Roddy Piper’s cause of death revealed

According to the death certificate of Roddy Piper obtained by TMZ.COM, the official cause of death by the coroner is listed as cardiopulmonary embolism, a blood clot that ultimately triggered a heart attack. The death certificate also lists hypertension which is high blood pressure.

Roddy Piper passed away unexpectedly on July 31 in his home in Hollywood, California. The death certificate was issued and rubber stamped on August 18.
