Ric Flair’s surgery scheduled for today moved to Monday due to complications

Ric Flair’s wife Wendy Barlow has said that the planned surgery that her husband Ric Flair was scheduled to have this morning has been postponed until Monday “to address some complications that needed to be taken care of first.”

Last night, Barlow issued a statement saying that Ric would be undergoing a procedure this morning after he was hospitalized yesterday. “Due to ongoing health complications, Ric was taken to the hospital and is expected to undergo a procedure tomorrow morning, after which he expects to fully recover,” her statement read. But that has now changed and the two-time WWE Hall of Famer will remain in an Atlanta-area hospital for the weekend.

Conrad Thompson, his son-in-law and the person who runs Starrcast, has so far stated that the Flair roast will still go ahead as planned next weekend but with this sudden change in plans for the surgery, there’s no information if Flair will be able to travel to Las Vegas for the event.
