Ric Flair received a huge surprise at The National Sports Collectors Convention in Chicago, with Roman Sharf, CEO of Luxury Bazaar, gifting him a Rolex which Shawn Michaels had given to Flair after WrestleMania 24.
Flair was no longer in possession of the custom-made Rolex President watch which had the numbers 24 with diamonds on the face. Flair had apparently “misplaced” the watch and did not have it anymore, with Sharf going on a mission to recreate the watch.
In a video published on his Instagram, Sharf is seen approaching Flair at the autograph table and ask him to sign something different, removing a Rolex box from his bag. Flair signed the box, not knowing what was about to happen next.
“One more thing if you don’t mind, if you could open it,” Sharf tells Flair. “This is a gift to you.”
Flair’s mouth drops to the floor and looks over to his assistant in disbelief.
Sharf tells Flair that it’s only right if he had it and Flair started to cry, thanking Sharf.
“Don’t lose it again,” Sharf jokingly tells Flair.
“I won’t,” Flair replies.
