Ric Flair back home after spending night in hospital following fall

16-time world champion Ric Flair is back home after suffering a nasty fall yesterday outside a restaurant in Tampa, Florida.

In a post on his social media properties, Flair thanked everyone for the messages and prayers and promised to get back to everyone individually as he gets stronger. He also thanked the staff and doctors at Tampa General Hospital for putting up with him until 4:30AM when he was discharged.

“I appreciate you all and thank you for everything you did for me,” Flair wrote. “I am focused on my healing and recovery right now. I will be okay!”

Flair uploaded a photo, sitting on a couch with a blanket over him and his right eye patched up, but smiling. Flair busted up his eye and face in the fall and had to be transported via an ambulance to the hospital.
