The day before Crown Jewel, there will be a Power Slap event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, promoted by UFC President Dana White.

Ariel Helwani is reporting that due to the airport being closed, the Power Slap production staff and athletes will be flying into neighboring Bahrain and then take a five-hour trip to Riyadh.

“Unless things change with the airport and the closure, they’ll be flying into Bahrain and then have to drive five hours on a bus from Bahrain to Riyadh,” Helwani said. “It’s absolutely crazy to have to do this, but the show goes on.”

White is partners in Zuffa Boxing along with Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority, the man behind the massive 10-year WWE contract.

This Power Slap event will be held at SEF Arena BLVD City.
