Nikki Bella reflects on Raw match and upcoming tag team match

On today’s episode of SiriusXM’s The Nikki and Brie Show, Nikki Garcia reflected on an unforgettable Monday Night RAW and teased changes for her upcoming tag match.

Nikki Garcia reflects on Monday Night RAW (8:31-10:38)

Nikki Garcia: I feel great. What I love is every time I go out there, I’m being pushed harder. I’m learning more about myself in this era and I sit and watch, and I get feedback from like you and Bryan, from myself, and I know what I need to do next and how I need to improve even more, the little things I could change, but I was so proud of Monday and I got a lot of great feedback and I mean, your girl was trending number one worldwide girl.

Brie Garcia: I’m not even on Twitter and I saw it.

Nikki Garcia: Oh, thanks, but even besides that, and you know, Brie, if there’s a lot for me, like JJ on the group text when he’s just played a pickup soccer game. He’s like, “Nicole, I don’t know how you’re doing it. Like I already need an ice bath and I played goalie,” so there’s just a lot of moments for me where I just continued to push myself out of my comfort zone. I wanted to bring in more moves and challenge myself and things that I used to do and I’m going against someone with a 20-year difference, you know?

Brie Garcia: I think it’s incredible.

Nikki Garcia: It really is.

Brie Garcia: And it’s nice for women of my age and older, and even I think, you know, women who are coming up on 40 to see a woman on television competing against people in their youth in their 20s. It’s nice to see that. It feels good. It’s like, you know, I think I when I see a lot of people, you know, cheer people on or say, “Oh, this is my favorite actress,” or whatever. There’s some similarity in that person that they feel they share with, and that’s why they get connected, so you’re doing it for all of us mamas, and we love it.

Nikki Garcia: Well, thank you, and you know, it’ll come a time where, you know, I won’t even really have to talk about age much, right? But it’s just the era I’m in and it’s a professional sport, but what I love is just for myself, I get to continue to see me grow, get better, keep bringing it up another notch and I know what I’m going to do next week for the Tag Match. I know the things that I’m going to work on this week in the gym and in training and I know the changes I’ll make and I’m not even going to tell you them because I want you to point them out.
