Nikki Bella apologizes for resurfaced video making fun of Chyna

A 2013 video of The Bella Twins making fun of Chyna from their appearance on E! with Joan Rivers has resurfaced on social media, forcing Nikki to issue a statement.

In the video, Nikki is seen saying they don’t know if she’s a man or a woman while holding a photo of the former champion. Rivers agreed with the twins, saying she might have a vagina or penis.

“I want to sincerely apologize for a comment I made over 8 years ago on Fashion Police,” Nikki said in a statement. “I am sorry and embarrassed by my 29 year old self who offended Chyna and in turn, hurt her family and others.

Nikki said she wishes she could take it back and urged others to learn from her as it’s not worth hurting someone’s feelings for a meaningless laugh.

“Chyna will always be remembered as an icon and pioneer who helped create the opportunities for women in wrestling that exist today. Thank you Chyna,” she added.
