MVP signs with Lucha Underground…and gets released after a week

Former WWE and TNA wrestler MVP announced last week that he had signed a deal with Lucha Underground however that contract has already been terminated by the parent company of Lucha Underground after MVP violated some terms of the contract.

In a video statement, MVP said that he inadvertently violated a non-disclosure agreement which was part of the contract and that he was released from his deal. He signed on as an agent/producer and at one point was also scheduled to debut as an on-air talent.

“I’m taking this one on the chin guys, I blew it. I made a mistake and the corporate powers that be decided that my contract should be terminated and I accept that,” MVP said. “I’m being honest with you, I f*cked up.”

MVP said that he has no animosity towards Lucha Underground as it was completely his fault.
