Matt Hardy says he’s still a free agent despite TNA appearance

Matt Hardy has clarified in a post on X that he is still a free agent after someone asked him if he signed with TNA following his appearance at Rebellion last night in Las Vegas.

“No. I’m a free agent,” Hardy wrote. “I will appear when I want to appear.”

Hardy dropped a lot of hints at returning to WWE over the past several days and during his podcast, he said that he’s been doing what he should be doing as a free agent, and that is create hype for himself.

“I have been speaking with AEW constantly. I have been speaking with WWE. I’ve been speaking with several people across several different platforms,” Hardy said after he revealed he was a free agent. “So I think the next couple of weeks are going to be fun.”
