John Cena’s role in the latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise was revealed with the trailer release, showing the former 16-time champion acting as the lead villain of the movie.
Cena will play the role of Jacob, a master thief, assassin, and high-performance driver, who also happens to be the baddie brother of Vin Diesel’s character Dom.
The movie features what seem to be more out-of-this-world car stunts than ever before and several battles, including a big one between Diesel’s and Cena’s characters. Charlize Theron also returns in her quest to kill Dom, this time using Jacob as her weapon.
F9: The Fast Saga will be released in theaters nationwide on May 22 and is expected to be another massive box office success for Universal.
