WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross announced today that he will be holding a RINGSIDE show on Saturday, August 22, at the Gramercy Theatre in New York.

That weekend WWE will be having SummerSlam in the area and with lots of people in town for the show it was a great opportunity for JR to bring his one man show to the city. Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday at Ticketmaster.com.

On a related note, JR also revealed that he is in talks with WWE to tape one version of his show to air on the WWE Network in the future. While details are still being drawn up, the show is most likely to be taped at Full Sail University, the home of NXT.

“Fingers crossed for this project which I hope will lead to more opportunities to contribute to @WWENetwork,” Ross wrote in his latest blog.

JR was sitting at ringside with his wife during the NXT live event in San Jose at WrestleMania weekend and was acknowledged by Triple H during his in-ring segment.
