Goldberg still annoyed at Asuka beating his undefeated record

Goldberg seems that he is still bitter about WWE surpassing his undefeated record with Asuka.

Appearing as a guest on the Real Talk with Mike Burke podcast, Goldberg corrected Burke who said that a streak like that is likely never going to happen again in wrestling.

Goldberg said that “they already did” and referred to Asuka as “some girl at WWE.”

The former champion never mentioned Asuka by name and said he has nothing “against the girl” but he feels that they did it on purpose.

“I think there is always going to be the bird in their ass that I was part of a company where I was the champion in a very short period of time and we were beating them in the ratings,” Goldberg said.

Goldberg said that when WWE bought WCW, they could treat everyone and everything the way they wanted.

According to stats, Goldberg had 461 days as undefeated and went 173-0 during this stint. Asuka went undefeated for 914 days in her NXT and early main roster days, losing for the first time to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34.
