Glenn “Kane” Jacobs eyeing re-election as Knox County Mayor in 2022

WWE Hall of Famer Glenn “Kane” Jacobs wrote on social media that he filed the petition sheet for Knox County Mayor this week and urged his supporters to support him to serve as Knox County Mayor again in the 2022 elections.

Jacobs had already indicated earlier this year that he will run in next year’s elections. Jacobs became mayor of Knox County in 2018 after beating the Democratic choice Linda Haney with 66.39% of the votes. During his time as mayor, he limited his WWE appearances and any time he wrestled for the promotion, including trips to Saudi Arabia, his money was donated.

Jacobs touts no tax increases, job growth, three new school buildings, standing up against lockdowns, giving no money to Planned Parenthood and others as his accomplishments so far during his role.
