Glenn Jacobs ends his eight-year run as Knox County mayor today

Glenn Jacobs, who for many years wrestled in WWE under the name of Kane, wraps up his role as mayor of Knox County today.

Jacobs spent eight years in office and cannot run for a third term. He was first elected in 2018 and remained in office ever since.

It’s unclear if the WWE Hall of Famer will stay in politics after this and told WATE News that his family will come first in whatever decision he makes.

While in office, Jacobs wrestled in a WWE ring a couple of times, with his last involvement in the ring coming at the 2021 Royal Rumble.
