Gail Kim pulls out of NWA Crockett Cup referee job tonight due to illness

Gail Kim, who was supposed to referee the NWA Women’s title match tonight between champion Kenzie Paige and WWE Superstar Natalya, has pulled out of the show due to severe flu and COVID symptoms.

Writing a message on her social media, Kim said that she was hoping to make a full recovery by today and that’s why she did not announce it sooner, but she is still experiencing a high fever and had to cancel this morning.

“I am so disappointed as I was looking forward to being the referee for the women’s championship title today. Wishing the best of luck to everyone in Philadelphia today and especially the ladies who I know will be bringing down 2300 Arena tonight,” Kim wrote, adding that she promises to make it up to the NWA at a later date.

Paige vs Natalya is part of a nine-match card at the NWA Crockett Cup event tonight.
