Former WWE, Impact, NWA star Taryn Terrell announces retirement

Former WWE, Impact, and NWA star Taryn Terrell announced that she is retiring from professional wrestling for good.

The 36-year-old, who started her career with WWE in FCW, wrote, “In my career, I often have not been able to be the first to ‘break my own news.’ At every company, it makes it to the public before I was truly ready to say anything. Anyhow, I have decided that it’s time to officially hang up my boots…forever. It’s so bittersweet.”

Terrell made her debut in 2007 and was known as Tiffany during her WWE run. In August 2010 she was suspended from WWE because of an incident with her then-husband Drew McIntyre and then was released in November of the same year before she could even return to TV.

In 2012 she moved to TNA and had a run until late 2015 where she was the Knockouts champion for a total of 279 days.

Terrell then joined the NWA in 2021 where she wrestled for the promotion until her retirement announcement.

Replying to her announcement, the NWA wrote, “We’ve all loved watching you shine both inside the NWA ring and alongside it. You will be missed!!! Wishing you nothing but the best on the path ahead.”
