Former WWE and Impact star Tyrus to face sexual harassment lawsuit

Former WWE and Impact Wrestling star George Murdoch, better known to fans as Brodus Clay in WWE and Tyrus in Impact, could be in some legal trouble after a federal judge ruled that his former FOX Nation co-host Britt McHenry can proceed with the sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit she filed against him and executive producer Jennifer Rauchet. The news was reported by the website lawandcrime.com.

The lawsuit, filed over a year ago, accused Murdoch for making sexual advances and making sexually harassing comments to her as well as for sending her inappropriate texts without her consent. Rauchet is not being sued for sexual harassment but rather for retaliating by removing McHenry from being a regular on the FOX News show Watters’ World after she complained about Murdoch.

“This is a victory for Ms. McHenry and a milestone in her pursuit of justice. We look forward to now having the opportunity to prove our claims of sexual harassment and retaliation against Fox News, Mr. Murdoch, and Ms. Rauchet in court,” her attorney Arick Fudali told Law & Crime in an e-mail.

The judge did however toss out all counts against Fox Corporation, its HR employee Monica Mekeel, and Vice President John Finley. Fox News remains a defendant in the case.

Murdoch hosts Nuff Said on FOX Nation and previously hosted Un-PC with McHenry between September 2018 and April 2019. He debuted his solo show in June of last year after the legal trouble began.

“Once the facts of the case have been presented, we are confident FOX News and Rauchet will prevail on McHenry’s remaining claims, which are equally without merit,” the network said in a statement.
