Former Velveteen Dream arrested twice in Florida

Former NXT star Patrick Clark, better known to fans as Velveteen Dream, was back in the news as he was arrested twice this month, on August 20 and August 26.

For the first arrest, Clark was charged with battery and trespassing and for the second arrest, he was charged for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Orange County Clerk of Courts records show that Clark paid the $1,200 bond on August 22 for his first arrest and pled not guilty the day after. A September 28 hearing is listed as canceled on the website. He is being represented by criminal defense attorney Kortney Daly of Smith & Eulo Law Firm. A copy of the record can be accessed here.

The 26-year-old was given the pink slip from WWE in May 2021 following several allegations that he sent sexually explicit photos to underage boys. WWE resisted the initial calls to fire him in mid-2020 when the cases went public but eventually let him go several months later.
