Eric Bischoff says he’s in discussions to bring WWE stars over to Real American Freestyle

During the latest episode of his 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff revealed that Real American Freestyle, which is the amateur wrestling company that he and Hulk Hogan started, is looking at getting some WWE stars over to participate.

The news was dropped while Bischoff was discussing Chad Gable, who he said was “sniffing around Real American Freestyle” for a possible appearance or participation.

“We’re talking about it. There’s some contractual issues that can kind of make that difficult, but we’re having discussions and relatively serious ones,” Bischoff said. “So I think it’s just a matter of time.”

Bischoff also said that he was having a conversation recently with someone who we all know who has a collegiate amateur wrestling background and they’re excited about what’s taking place at RAF.

Some UFC stars have already appeared on RAF so it would not be surprising if WWE followed suit.
