Dwayne Johnson’s Ballers returns with season 3 tonight on HBO

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be back on television every week starting tonight as his series Ballers on HBO returns with season 3 starting at 10PM EST.

The comedy series features Johnson as Spencer Strasmore, a retired NFL player turned financial manager along with the cast of Rob Corddry as Joe Krutel, John David Washington as Ricky Jerret, Omar Miller as Charles Greane, Donovan W. Carter as Vernon Littlefield, Troy Garity as Jason, London Brown as Reggie, Jazmyn Simon as Julie Greane, and Arielle Kebbel.

Season two averaged 1.17 million viewers over 10 episodes. Ballers, which filmed seasons one and two in Miami, based its production for season three in California to benefit from tax incentives.
