Dwayne Johnson not shutting down idea of running for President of the United States

In a long and wide-ranging interview with Vanity Fair, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson did not shut the door on an eventual run to be the President of the United States of America, saying that it’s “humbling” to be even urged by the public to run.

In the interview, Johnson said that he did talk to some people in politics and did research and analysis to see what it could look in the future, admitting that indicators for 2024 and 2028 are “all very positive.”

“You know, at the end of the day, I don’t know the first thing about politics. I don’t know the first thing about policy,” Johnson told interviewer Chris Heath.

“I care deeply about our country. I care about every f*cking American who bleeds red, and that’s all of them. And — there’s no delusion here — I may have some decent leadership qualities, but that doesn’t necessarily make me a great presidential candidate. That’s where I am today,” he explained.

The interview also tackles his feud with Vin Diesel, the complicated relationship with his father, his wife and kids, and being Hollywood’s most paid actor.
