Dana White ready to make Lesnar vs Jones fight if both want it

UFC President Dana White has said that he would make the fight between Jon Jones and Brock Lesnar if the two want to do it.

Lesnar was back in the news after it was revealed that he is now a free agent and able to negotiate with anyone. In the past, the former champ used the UFC to get more leverage on a bigger and better WWE deal but this time around, WWE did not buckle during negotiations and the two sides remained without a deal.

White has claimed that he has not talked to Lesnar in a year and doesn’t know if he wants to fight again. Lesnar is not part of the USADA drug testing pool anymore either so returning to the UFC would be a long way.

“He is 43 years old and he’s got a lot of money. So I don’t know what his plans are, how his body feels, any of that,” White said.

Jones has pushed for a Lesnar fight in the past and now that he’s moving to heavyweight and knowing that Brock is a free agent, he is pushing it publicly again.

“If they both want to fight each other, I’m sure it’s a fight that the fans would want to see,” White added. “It would be a good introduction for Jones into the heavyweight division. Yeah…if they wanted to do it…I would do it.”
