Bellator MMA after the services of Brock Lesnar

The UFC is not the only company looking for the services of Brock Lesnar if the current WWE World Heavyweight champion decides to hang up his boots once again come next year.

MMAFighting.com is reporting that the Viacom-owned company Belabor MMA has reached out to Brock Lesnar although Bellator’s President Scott Coker said no actual negotiations have been made and it was just their way of “saying hello” and that they were interested in him.

“There hasn’t been any serious dialogue,” Coker said. “But when the time comes to have serious dialogue, we’ll be right there.”

Brock Lesnar has not made a decision if he wants to go back to mixed martial arts, a sport that he retired from in 2011 after losing to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. However the rumors of Lesnar going back into the cage have been increasing every month and with Lesnar’s deal with WWE expiring just after WrestleMania, it wouldn’t be a shocker if he decides to give it one more shot.

UFC President Dana White has publicly stated that if Lesnar decides to go back, the UFC will take him back in a heartbeat. Lesnar was one of the biggest pay-per-view draws in the company’s history during his short stint there.
