Apple teams up with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for Siri commercial

Apple has tapped Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson for a cool – and long – three and a half minute commercial promoting Siri, Apple’s own voice assistant service which is available for iOS devices.

“I partnered with #Apple to make the BIGGEST, COOLEST, CRAZIEST, DOPEST, MOST OVER THE TOP, FUNNEST (is that even a word?) movie ever. And I have the greatest co-star of all time – #SIRI,” The Rock tweeted. “I make movies for the world to enjoy and we also made this one to motivate you to get out there and get the job done. I want you to watch it, have fun with it and then go LIVE IT.”

Titled The Rock x Siri, the commercial – or movie as they’re calling it – features The Rock challenging a television news report where the newscaster wonders if The Rock can take on any more stuff. “That sounds like a challenge,” The Rock says as he grabs his iPhone and starts doing a million things together thanks to the assistance of Siri.

During the whole three and a half minute video, The Rock goes everywhere including a trip to outer space where he asks Siri to take a selfie while he flexes his muscles in the astronaut outfit. “I hope that does not cause an eclipse,” Johnson quips.

The video is splashed on the front page of Apple.com and you can see it as well below.
