Top wrestlers of 2021

The iconic wrestling matches that take place every year come with entertaining performances, adrenaline, and lots of unexpected surprises. Not to mention the best wrestlers that make art from this special sport. In the next article, our team selected the best wrestlers of 2021. If you are passionate about this topic, now is the right moment to learn more about these below stars.

Kenny Omega

Whenever you are gambling at a safe India casino and look for the sportsbook menu, you may find an entire section of upcoming wrestling matches. The odds may be competitive or you may claim a free bet and place your favorite matches on a ticket without any risks. Once you go through the events, you can find matches between Kenny Omega and other professional wrestlers.

No one can deny the incredible year Omega, real name Tyson Smith, had. He spent most of 2021 as the AEW World champion, had many successful title defenses, and even topped the PWI Top 500 list. Omega might be out for a few months due to injuries, but he’ll be back better than ever, picking up right where he left off.

Roman Reigns

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns is joining our top 5 wrestlers of 2021. Just like Kenny Omega, Roman Reigns had an incredible year. His Tribal Chief persona has pretty much carried WWE all the way this year and his pairing with Paul Heyman was a genius idea.

From fantastic matches with Edge and Daniel Bryan, to Cesaro, John Cena, and even Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns has overcome all odds this year, even though sometimes it did require the help of his cousins The Usos and Heyman. There’s no slowing down The Big Dog and a rematch with Lesnar awaits on New Year’s Day.

Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley had one of his best years in the wrestling business this year, joining the list of a handful of black WWE champions. Lashley won the WWE title for the first time earlier this year, walked into WrestleMania as champion and walked out of WrestleMania as champion.

Just like with Reigns and Heyman, teaming him up with MVP has done wonders for the former Army Sergeant. Lashley also had high-profile matches against Goldberg at SummerSlam and at Crown Jewel and is back in the WWE title picture, hunting for the gold that he lost against Big E.

Drew McIntyre

The Scottish warrior did most of the heavy lifting during the pandemic era last year and was crowned champion in front of no fans and lost the title in front of no fans.

But after regaining the title, he went on to have a few successful title defenses against Keith Lee, AJ Styles, The Miz, Goldberg, and at Elimination Chamber, only for him to lose it to The Miz after Miz cashed in his briefcase thanks to help from Bobby Lashley. Now, McIntyre is on the Smackdown brand and is gunning for a place in the Universal title picture.

Kota Ibushi

The 39-year-old Japanese sensation wraps up our list of top 5. Ibushi, who believe it or not was once part of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic tournament, started the year by winning the IWGP Heavyweight title during Wrestle Kingdom in January.

After successfully defending both his Heavyweight and Intercontinental titles on night two of Wrestle Kingdom, Ibushi wanted to unify the IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental titles, and did so when he beat El Desperado on the 49th NJPW anniversary show earlier this year, making him the inaugural IWGP World Heavyweight Champion. His reign did not last long though as a month later he lost the World title to Will Ospreay.

Conclusion

Did you find your favorite in our top 5 best wrestlers in 2021? If so, make sure to never miss any of their matches and stay tuned for the newest competitions that will take place in 2022. Maybe Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi or other wrestlers will come with outstanding performances in the future or other wrestlers will manage to take away their supremacy.
