John Cena: From WWE to Hollywood superstar

John Cena is 44 years old and was born West Newbury, Massachusetts, United States, and he is an American professional wrestler, television presenter, and actor…not too bad for a career to say the very least.

WWE career

John Cena made his WWE debut in June 2002 and had a pretty iconic first encounter in the ring against Olympic champion Kurt Angle. Cena’s arrival sparked the launch of Ruthless Aggression, a phrase he used to impress Angle…followed by a hard slap to the face. Although Cena was dominant throughout the match, Kurt Angle still won but as they say, the rest is history.

It has been a tremendous voyage for John Cena since then. For the first time in 2005, he won the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 21 when he defeated JBL and then went on to win 15 other world titles, putting him on the same count as Ric Flair. Apart from that, he won the United States title five times, the Tag Team titles four times, the Royal Rumble twice, and also the Money In The Bank.

With all his success in WWE, there’s a rumour that he will win his 17th world title eventually and you can punt for him to win on online sport bookies just like these.

Movies career

Cena has been featured in a few movies that have become hits and have become very popular. You may have seen him in the movie Daddy’s Home or perhaps Bumblebee, and his latest movies in 2021 have been big hits with F9 and The Suicide Squad.

John Cena is featuring in an upcoming movie called Vacation Friends which is set to release on Hulu on August 27th, 2021. It looks like another promising performance from John Cena judging by the movie trailer.
