Will Ospreay undergoes successful back surgery

Will Ospreay is on the road to recovery after he underwent successful back surgery yesterday.

Ospreay went under the knife to repair two herniated discs in his back, and admitted in a previous interview that he was terrified about it as this was his first surgery and didn’t know the mental battle that was yet to come.

“The road will be long, but it’ll be worth it to see you all again,” Ospreay wrote on X today. “Surgery was a success.”

The Brit last wrestled at Forbidden Door in front of his people in London and while he was given the honor to close the show, he was violently attacked by The Death Riders to write him off television for the foreseeable future.

It’s unknown at this point how long will Ospreay stay on the sidelines but it will be several months before he is back in an AEW ring.
