Wardlow returns on Dynamite, wrestles first match in over 900 days

Wardlow returned to the ring last night on the Pac tribute episode of Dynamite, just a week after his return was teased at All Out.

The 38-year-old had not wrestled on AEW television since March 2024, and a combination of injuries and just time away meant that the former TNT champion spent over 900 days without a televised match.

Wardlow rejoined the Don Callis Family for the main event of the show and teamed up with Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, Lance Archer, and Josh Alexander to take on Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Gabe Kidd, Daniel Garcia, and Bryan Danielson in a 10-man tag team match.

While away from AEW, Wardlow was cast as one of the American Gladiators on the Amazon Prime reboot.
