Two title matches announced for New Year’s Smash Dynamite

Two title matches were announced for the New Year’s Eve episode of Dynamite, marketed as New Year’s Smash, which will take place live from Omaha, Nebraska.

AEW National champion Ricochet will defend his title against Jack Perry after the two were involved in an eight-man tag match during Zero Hour yesterday and Perry’s team defeated Ricochet’s team.

Also, fresh off another loss, Mercedes Mone looks to get revenge and maybe a W as she takes on Willow Nightingale with the TBS title up for grabs. Mone was pinned by Nightingale at Worlds End, ending her hopes of adding the AEW Women’s Tag Team titles to her collection.

New AEW World champion MJF will also make an appearance on the show.

Tickets for this Dynamite are not selling particularly well mainly because it falls on New Year’s Eve and they’re available at evenue.net.
