Tony Khan to make “important announcement” on Dynamite tonight

When ratings take a bit of a hit, you can bet on one thing: Tony Khan will make special announcement, and that’s what the AEW President will do tonight on Dynamite.

No hint has been given on what this special announcement will be, but the last one made was the purchase of Ring of Honor. Khan did tell the Phoenix New-Times that this will be about “an exciting development” for the company but did not talk about it more.

Five matches have been announced for tonight’s show as well featuring Jon Moxley vs Evil Uno of The Dark Order, Skye Blue vs Saraya, The Acclaimed vs Big Bill and Lee Moriarty, an All-Atlantic title match with Orange Cassidy vs Wheeler Yuta, and the Revolution Tag Team Battle Royale.

The Battle Royale winners will join The Gunns and The Acclaimed in a four-way match for the AEW World Tag Team titles at Revolution. Scheduled to be part of the match are Top Flight, Best Friends, Tony Nese and Ari Daivari, The Butcher and The Blade, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, The Lucha Bros, Rush and Preston Vance, Aussie Open, Daddy Magic and Angelo Parker, and The Dark Order.
