Thunder Rosa to step back in the ring next week for a test match

Thunder Rosa is getting back in the ring for a test match next week when AEW rolls into Greensboro, North Carolina.

In a video posted on X, AEW’s medic Dr. Sampson explained that Rosa will do a five-minute “mini match” to see if she can handle it and how her back holds up.

“If that looks good, we’re almost there,” Dr. Sampson said.

The former AEW Women’s champion has not wrestled since October 8, 2022 and then had to miss All Out due to her back injury, an injury which has received a lot of backlash and divided a locker room due to rumors of it being fake.

Rosa has always maintained that she had a serious back problem and was eventually stripped of the AEW Women’s title later when it was evident she was not returning soon.
