Shaquille O’Neal is coming…to AEW!

Shaquille O’Neal is coming to AEW! After earlier this year the former NBA star hinted he wants to get in the ring with Cody Rhodes, the angle kicked off on last night’s Dynamite.

It all started when Cody, fresh from losing his TNT title, said he wants to topple giants while in AEW, a subtle hint of what was coming next. At that point, fitness star and “soon to be your favorite wrestler” Jade Cargill came out for her AEW debut to confront Rhodes.

Cargill introduced herself and then turned her attention to Rhodes and asked what does Cody know about giants since there’s “nothing giant about you.” She said she knows a real giant and statements like his were loud enough to wake him up.

“So the next time you feel the need to think out loud, I suggest you keep that sh!t to yourself,” Cargill told Rhodes. At that point, she walked to the back but before she went through the tunnel, she congratulated Cody on getting his name back.

“But I guess you didn’t have the balls to go by one name,” she continued. “That giant that you were talking about, you know what his name is? Shaq!”

O’Neal was backstage at Full Gear last weekend. He already has appearances in WWE and WCW under his belt.
