Samoa Joe nears AEW return

Samoa Joe’s return to AEW was teased last night on Dynamite, with Jack Perry calling out the former AEW World champion in a promo where he challenged Joe to return and face him in the squared circle.

Joe has been missing from AEW television since the Double or Nothing pay-per-view, with his last match being against current AEW World champion Will Ospreay.

Joe’s absence is not due to an injury, but he had to go film the new season of Twisted Metal, which airs on Peacock. Joe portrays the character of the killer clown Sweet Tooth in the series.

While Joe’s return date was not announced, All Out on pay-per-view next week would be a pretty good event to make a return!
