ROH Women’s champ Mercedes Martinez injured

ROH Women’s champion Mercedes Martinez is out with an injury and AEW President Tony Khan said that he expects her to return soon.

Martinez was last seen in ROH at the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view in July where she successfully defended her title against Serena Deeb. She then wrestled one more match a day later and has been out of action ever since.

Khan did not elaborate on what injury Martinez is suffering from, continuing a trend of not revealing details on his stars’ injuries unless they choose to do so themselves.
