Queen Aminata wins TBS title on Dynamite

Queen Aminata became the TBS champion last night on Dynamite, defeating Persephone to win her first championship in AEW.

The match between the two also marked a rare feat for AEW – a main event spot featuring the women.

As the new champion celebrated in the ring with fireworks, several women from the locker room came out to join the party, including Thunder Rosa, Willow Nightingale, Maya World, Harley Cameron, Kris Statlander, Hyan, and a very emotional Mina Shirakawa, who all celebrated with Aminata.

The broadcast ended with confetti raining down on the ring and a beaming champion showing off her championship.

The 33-year-old has been working for AEW since 2021, starting all the way back on Dark YouTube episodes.
