MVP says it was time to go from WWE because of new management

In a short interview dropped yesterday on the Drop The Heat YouTube channel taped at the Heels Have Eyes III indie show in Chicago, MVP said that the reason he left WWE is because it was time for him to go and it was his decision not to re-sign.

“I let it be known that I wasn’t going to re-sign because the new management in place, anytime…I don’t care where you work, when new management comes in, it’s good for some people and not for other people,” MVP said.

MVP was openly critical of Triple H in the past, and with Triple H now running things in the company, MVP said it was definitely time to leave.

“The new management just wasn’t for me and I ain’t for him,” he said laughing.

MVP is now in AEW along with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, reuniting as The Hurt Syndicate.
