MJF returns at All Out in show-closing angle

MJF made his return to AEW last night at All Out for the show-closing angle with new champion CM Punk.

After Punk won the title, the lights went out and a voicemail from Tony Khan played. It said that he doesn’t like he is screwing the fans and is prepared to swallow a big pill and offer him more money to show up at All Out, put him in the Casino Ladder match, and doesn’t have to sign a contract extension.

A very old ROH promo from CM Punk then aired where Punk told fans that the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing people he didn’t exist. The masked Joker from the Casino Ladder match then showed up, turned around, and removed his mask…and put his Burberry scarf on, with MJF saying he’s the devil himself.

MJF then walked out to the top of the stage to a loud ovation and MJF chants from the crowd. Punk held the title over his head and MJF signaled he’s going for the title.

He then wrapped up his appearance by flipping off the fans.

MJF has not been seen on AEW television since the Dynamite following Double or Nothing where he delivered a much talked about promo saying he wants to quit and called Tony Khan a “f*cking mark.”
