Mercedes Mone was crowned the queen in the Pro Wrestling Illustrated Top 250 Women chart.
Carrying 12 titles, it was not a surprise to see Mone top the list even though the public sentiment might differ on this particular choice. Mone was not even in the 2024 list because she did not have enough matches by the time the list was compiled.
Coming in at #2 was last year’s #1, Toni Storm. Storm, with her Timeless character, has been a mainstay on AEW television for a few years now and has been the face of AEW women’s wrestling, certainly a deserved spot for the young star from New Zealand.
Rounding up the top 5 were Saya Kamitani in third, Tiffany Stratton in fourth, and Stephanie Vaquer in fifth place.
The rest of the top 10 included Iyo Sky in sixth, Athena in seventh, Sareee in eight, Naomi in ninth, and Rhea Ripley in tenth place.
That means that AEW had three, WWE had five, and Japan with two entries.
The digital version of the Top 250 Women Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine is available today while the print version comes out tomorrow.
