Mercedes Mone to get CMLL Women’s title shot at Grand Slam: Mexico

Mercedes Mone is gunning for yet another title before she takes on the AEW Women’s champion as she was granted a CMLL World Women’s title match for next week.

Mone will battle the CMLL Women’s champion Zeuxis on next week’s Grand Slam: Mexico following an angle which was shot on last night’s episode of AEW’s Summer Blockbuster four-hour program.

Zeuxis accepted Mone’s challenge and laid her out with a right hand to the face in a backstage segment. The match was later confirmed by AEW President Tony Khan.

Mone has the chance to go to All In: Texas carrying five belts: the TBS title, the two belts which are the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s title, the Owen Hart Cup tournament title, and the newly-won EWA Women’s title which she won last weekend.
