Kenny Omega talks relationship with CM Punk: “It’s mutual respect, we were never bad”

During one of his live gaming Twitch streams, former AEW champion Kenny Omega that he and CM Punk have reached out to each other since Brawl Out and all is good between them.

Omega was answering questions from fans while playing video games.

“It’s mutual respect. We reached out to each other. But it’s, not, hey it’s good now…we were never bad,” Omega said.

During the stream, Omega said that at Brawl Out he saved Punk’s dog Larry and that was his main objective. He said he’s a believer of if you want to fight to settle something, then go for it as long as you shake hands afterward and move on without going online to say who won or showing any footage.

Omega did say that he tried to calm things down but it got too chaotic to handle by himself and revealed that he hasn’t had any EVP power for the past four years.

“Honestly if it weren’t for a complete other factor, we would’ve been able to have that talk on the night of Brawl Out,” Omega continued.

Omega was part of Brawl Out and left with a bite on his arm courtesy of Ace Steel. Omega was suspended by AEW along with the rest of the individuals who were part of it.
