AEW’s Jake Hager is returning to the cage for another MMA fight under the Bellator promotion according to MMAJunkie.com.
The former World Heavyweight champion will be taking on Brandon Calton on Thursday, October 29 at the Mohegan Sun event in Uncasville, Connecticut.
Both Hager and Calton are undefeated in their professional MMA careers with two wins each. Their fight will be part of the preliminaries and not on the main card.
The last time Hager got in the cage, the fight went to a no contest after his opponent, Anthony Garrett, got low-blowed on more than one occasion. It will be almost exactly a year since Hager last stepped in the cage.
